Sean Ramsdale
When I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in International Business, I never envisioned a career in the health care industry. But like many new college graduates, one of those first jobs took me in an unexpected direction. I found the business side of health care to be interesting and challenging. When it became apparent that I needed to continue my education to progress in my career, I took evening classes at St. Edward’s University and earned a Masters of Business Administration. I kept working hard and learning, and before I knew it, clocked over 20 years working in the health care industry.
Through it all, I have always been and will always be an analyst, first and foremost. I am happiest when I am working through a difficult problem or learning something new. I strive for excellence in all of my work.
I have extensive experience using data-driven analytics to answer questions about past and present and to inform decisions about the future. I also know, however, that a successful analytic project doesn’t happen in a vacuum of data tables and spreadsheets. Conferring with the client throughout a project is critical to producing a useful deliverable. Unforeseen twists, turns and changes are part of the process. The end product should meet the needs of you, the client.
