Sean Ramsdale

When I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in International Business, I never envisioned a career in the health care industry.  But like many new college graduates, one of those first jobs took me in an unexpected direction.  I found the business side of health care to be interesting and challenging.  When it became apparent that I needed to continue my education to progress in my career, I took evening classes at St. Edward’s University and earned a Masters of Business Administration.  I kept working hard and learning, and before I knew it, clocked over 20 years working in the health care industry.

Through it all, I have always been and will always be an analyst, first and foremost.  I am happiest when I am working through a difficult problem or learning something new.  I strive for excellence in all of my work.

I have extensive experience using data-driven analytics to answer questions about past and present and to inform decisions about the future.  I also know, however, that a successful analytic project doesn’t happen in a vacuum of data tables and spreadsheets.  Conferring with the client throughout a project is critical to producing a useful deliverable.  Unforeseen twists, turns and changes are part of the process.  The end product should meet the needs of you, the client.

Feel free to send a message through LinkedIn or Twitter if you’d like to know more about me and how I can help your business.  If you’d like to see the formal, more detailed version of my experience and skills, the link below will take you to my resume.   Another great way to learn more about me is through my work.  In the coming weeks, I’ll be adding to the Rear View Mirror and Road Ahead sections of this website – check it out.
